I took up drawing and painting as a hobby when I retired over five years ago. I began attending Adult Education classes. I started painting with watercolours and have stayed with this medium. Now, I supplement my watercolours with gouache and acrylic. I am mainly interested in painting animals and birds, although I do attempt other subjects occasionally.
