Yvonne Bell is a Christian Sacred Artist and Vestment Maker and has been known to call herself a Visual Evangelist.

Her work ranges through traditional Christian imagery on canvas, Icons on wood and Christian conceptual art. She aims to find a way of visually describing man's relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. She also enjoys introducing western Christians to the idea, known by the Orthodox East for hundreds of years, that visual imagery is useful in worship, without it being idolatrous. Her usual painting medium is acrylic on canvas or MDF.

The vestments are painted on silk or cotton. All vestments are unique designs and not available 'off-the-peg' or from a catalogue. Yvonne works with the person ordering the vestments to design something that is special for them both artistically and spiritually.

Yvonne has taken workshops and assemblies in a variety of schools talking about and explaining Christian art, covering works from 300 AD to the present day, and discussing the difference between Western and Eastern Art and its place in worship for various peoples. She has run art workshops for Church groups, given talks on Christian Symbolism, Banner making and various other related topics.
